We invite you to join us in the rolling hills between Siena and Florence for a deluxe, all inclusive
holiday that combines nature's bounty, art and Italian culture with the glories of the table – the very
essence of Tuscany. LOCANDA LE PIAZZE is a carefully restored ancient farm decorated with
objects from around the world, fabrics by Ralph Lauren and linens by Frette. This hilltop retreat,
located near Castellina in Chianti, is set among vineyards and olive groves with endless views of the heart of Chianti country. A beautiful swimming pool overlooking a magnificent panorama.

The soul of Italian culture is reflected in the joy of cooking – straightforward, simple and robust! Whether we're roasting meats or making feather-light gnocchi, you will learn the Italian flair for serving traditional Tuscan dishes that need little adornment or fuss. Cooking sessions will emphasize local seasonal ingredients, wonderful olive oil, balsamic vinegar and the famous wines of Chianti. You'll discover the time-honored traditions of Italian cooking as we create memorable meals and delight in coming together at the table. Our Culinary/Cultural program begins with arrival on Sunday with a welcoming buffet and ends after a leisurely breakfast on following Saturday or Sunday. Cooking sessions, both participation and demonstration, alternate with luncheons and dinners in local trattorias. Sightseeing expeditions will take you through the magnificent landscapes, hilltop villages and rolling vineyards that are home to the rich cultural cities of Florence and Siena and the medieval towns of San Gimignano, Colle, Montalcino and Volterra. One market day will find us shopping for the freshest ingredients at Florence's Central Food and Vegetable Market, Wine tastings with a vineyard luncheon and a dinner or two in the area's best trattorias are part of an itinerary of cooking classes and guided sightseeing and shopping expeditions to Florence and Siena. Swimming at Locanda Le Piazze or hiking through the vineyards, meandering through medieval streets or shopping for ceramics make for a full but relaxing holiday. You will have six days and seven nights overflowing with the delights of the Tuscan countryside. Our program is limited to 10 students, a minimum group of 6 is requested, where classes are conducted in demonstration format, or a few hands on dishes.
The week is scheduled around a full culinary/cultural, itinerary of marketing,sightseeing
expeditions and occasional meals in local trattorias. Classes are held in Locanda Le Piazze's Rustic kitchen,and pizzas are made in an original antique wood burning oven .
Our Hotel chefs will teach you the time honoured traditions of Italian cooking and the famous Tuscan dishes that emphasize local ingredients. Each class menu is nutritionally balanced and centered around seasonal fresh produce from our vegetable garden.

PROGRAM COST:
The cost for a week with the TUSCAN TABLE(TT) at Locanda Le Piazze is euros 2600.00 per person double-
occupancy and 2850.00 single occupancy. This fee covers 6 classes of instruction: 7 nights deluxe
accommòdation, all breakfasts, lunches and dinners, tours and transportation to and from the airport or
train station in Florence or Pisa. Rooms are all with private bathroom.
8 hours of Basic Italian Language Lessons.

Your balance will be due 90 days before the start of your program week. We will contact you the moment we receive your reservation to gather information on others in your party or to answer questions. If you require some assistance in arranging travel from regions of Italy, we can put you in touch with our transportation

RESPONSABILITIES: We assume no liability of injury, delay inconvenience,irregularity, loss or damage to person or property, or additional costs resulting directly or indirectly from the following causes: fire,acts of government, theft or cancellation over which we have no control. The right is reserved by LOCANDALE PIAZZE to alter the itinerary or to cancel the tour prior to departure.The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain any person at any time should such persons health, mental condition, physical infirmity or general deportment impede the welfare and enjoyment of other guests: Any physical disability requiring attention or treatment must be reported when the reservation is requested. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Full refunds or transfers of the reservations to other weeks are guaranteed if notification cancellation is received in writing more than 60 days prior to the start date of your reserved week. Written cancellation received less than 60 days but more than 30 days prior to your week's starting date will result in 50% loss of the week's charges. Any cancellations received 30 days or less to the start of the week with TT, will result in the loss of the full price of the programme. In all instances TT's 100.-USD registration fee will not be refunded. We recommend that individual travel insurance be purchased for your protection, in case you find it necessary to choose either a full refund or a rescheduling to another culinary week. TT is not responsible for any additional expenses that may be incurred by a guest in relation to a cancelled trip such as airline tickets, etc. I have read the conditions as stated in The Tuscan Table's material and agree to the terms.
